Lamp No. 1 by Woodrow & Co is an in-house project that strives to balance simplicity against complexity. It distills the lamp to its most basic elements- the bulb, the body, and the cord. With its distinctive curves, the iconic Plumen 001 bulb serves as the focal point of the design, contrasting a deceptively simple maple base. The true beauty of the design, however, lies with the interaction. Drawing inspiration from classical pull chain lamps, one simply pulls the power cord to activate the lamp.
